Our last day
July 22, 2016
Today we went to Burgh Island. Burgh is an exclusive island with great cliffs and with an art Deco hotel. This hotel is a really exclusive place where lots of celebrities and important people had been staying during their holidays. Agatha Christie was there and wrote one of her novels. Winston Churchil was hosped there too.
Then we had lunch at the beach and we went to Splash Down, a really funny water park.
And this is the end of the travel, tomorrow morning we'll take the plane to Barcelona.

Avui hem anat a Burgh island, Burgh és una illa molt exclusiva amb espectaculars penya-segats i amb un hotel de l'estil Art Déco. Aquest hotel és molt exclusiu i moltes persones importants s'hi han allotjat. Un exemple és en Winston Churchil i l'Agatha Christie, l'Àgatha Christie que hi anava per inspirar-se i, hi va escriure una de les seves novel.les.
Després hem dinat a la platja i hem anat a un parc aquàtic on ens ho hem passat molt bé.
I aquest és el final del nostre viatge, demà matí tornarem cap a Barcelona.

Today in the morning we went to school, we did our last day classes.
Then we had lunch and we had some free time, so, we bought some things and souvenirs.
After this, we went to Decoy Park and we did kayaking and Paddle Surf. It was really difficult, but we had a great time.
Then some boys and girls played football and the other were staying in the park.
Then we returned home.

Avui al matí hem fet l'últim dia de classes. Després hem anat a fdinar i hem tingut temps lliure per anar a comprar algunes coses.
Llavors hem anat al Decoy Parc i hem fet Kayac i Paddle Surf, ha sigut difícil però hem passat una bona estona.
Llavors uns quants hem jugat a futbol i els altres ens hem estat descansant al parc.

Today we went to school and we did classes.
We had lunch at twelve o'clock and in the afernoon we did workshops, we did drama. We represented The wolf in sheep's clothing.
Then we went to Totness and we painted a mug.

Fish and chips
July 19, 2016
Today in the morning, we went to school and we did our English classes. After, we had lunch and we went to Torquay by bus.
In Torquay we went to Rviera Swimmingpool, it was so funny because it was a wave pool.
We spent two hours swimming and after we had free time and we visited the town.
At six we went to the Bowling Centre.
And to complete the day we has dinner in a nice restaurant to taste the typical fish and chips.

Avui al matí hem fet les tres hores de classes, i després de dinar hem agafat el bus que ens ha portat fins a Torquay. Allà hem anat a la piscina d'onades on ens hem estat banyant. Després hem tingut temps lliure i hem pogut visitar el poble.
A les sis hem anat a la bolera, i, per completar la jornada hem sopat en un bonic restaurant on hem pogut tastar el tradicional "fish & chips"

Today we went to school in the morning from 9 to 12.
Then we had lunch in Newton Abbot, and we could go to have a walk in the town.
Afterthat, we went to Torquey by bus, we walked to Meadfoot Woodland and we made fire to cook sausages and marshmallows.
The we went to the beach and some of us swam in the Ocean.

First day at school
July 17, 2016
Today Moday 18th of July we have started school at 9 o'clock. We have first done a level test to distribute ourselves in four different classes. The test consisted in sixty questions of the type "a,b,c". The test has started at 9:00 and it has ended at 9:55 am. We've got about half hour of free time while the teachers have been correcting the tests. After that we have done half an hour of class, everyone in his level class. Then teachers have given us time to have lunch.
After school we have gone to a guide route where Calvin, our teacher has explained us a little bit of the story of Newton Abbot. Once we've finished, we have done a quiz game arround the town. The game has last an hour.
After that we have gone to play some games in a grass field. We played some English traditional games as rounders and dodgeball.

Avui ha sigut el primer dia d'escola. Quan hem arribat hem fet un test per distribuir-nos en quatre grups.
Una vegada els professors han corregit les proves hem anat a les classes. Després hem dinat i a la tarda hem anat al poble a fer una visita guiada i una gimcana on havíem de demanar a la gent diverses preguntes sobre el poble.
Quan hem acabat, hem anat a un camp d'esports i hem practicat esportas tradicionals anglesos com el Rounders i el Dodgeball.

Dartmoor and Plimouth

Today we went to Dartmoor. Dartmoor is a National park of 1000 square kilometres. There are a lot of different animals like ponnies, small mammals, foxes, deers, amfibious, insects, lizards, snakes, different species of butterflies.
The meaning of the Dartmoor name is: Dart is a kind of tree, and Moor is a kind of habitat. In this habitat the ground has a lot of granit.
Afterthis we went to Plimouth. We did a guided tour around the town.
This city is the main city of the Devon County. In the second world world Plimouth was attacked by the German. Plimouth has an important harbour.
After the visit we went iceskating. We had a lot of fun.

Avui hem anat a Dartmoor que és un parc nacional de 1000 km quadrats. Hi ha moltes espècies d'animals diferents, ponnies, petits mamífers, cèrvols,, amfibis, insectes, sargantanes, serps, papallones,...
El significat del nom Dartmoor, Dart és un tipus d'arbre i Moor és el tipus d'habitat. En aquest sòl shi troba molt granit.
Després, hem anat a Plimouth. Hem fet una visita guiada. aquesta ciutat és la més important del comptat de Devon. Plimouth va ser atacada durant les segona guerra mundial pels alemanys.
Plimouth té un port històric molt important i un far molt bonic.
Després de la visita hem anat a patinar sobre gel i ho hem passat molt bé.

First day with the families

Today we spent the day with our new families. We did different activities, shopping, barbacue, fishing, playing games.. . It has been a funny day.
Avui hem passat el dia amb les nostres noves families. Hem fet diferents activitats, compres, barbacoes, pesca, jocs,... . Ha sigut un dia divertit.

Arrival to Newton Abbot

After a long journey travelling, finally yesterday we arrived to Newton Abbot. We landed in Cardiff at four, and we took a bus to Newton Abbot.
There, we can met the families, and we went to our houses. They look like very nice families and sure we'll spend nice days here.
Today is our family day, so we've got the oportunity to do some activities and know them better.
Després d'una llarga jornada viatjant, ahir vam arribar a newton abbot. Vam aterrar a Cardiff a les quatre i vam agafar el bus que ens va portar a Newton Abbot.
Allà vam poder trobar les families i vam anar cap a casa. Són families molt agradables i segur que passarem uns dies molt bons.
Avui és el dia de familia, així que tindrem l'oportunitat de fer activitats i conèixe'ls millor.
